Privacy and file processing

Files: In the initial browser tools, selecting a file does not upload the file to our servers. Your browser reads it locally, makes a new image and offers it to download. No user-image backend endpoint is enabled.

Retention: Image files stay in the active browser session and are not automatically stored in our database or uploaded. The browser may temporarily hold image data and object URLs in memory; closing the page releases session resources. You control downloaded files.

Website logs: Apache may log requests to pages and assets, including IP address, timestamp and user-agent according to server settings. Those logs are not image uploads.

Preferences: The optional light/dark theme is stored locally on the device. No account cookies or cross-domain image-processing sessions are created by this release.

Third parties: Advertising and analytics integrations are off. Visiting external links such as Ko-fi or the parent PDF site takes you to a separate site with its own practices.

Later server tools: If introduced, they will explain upload and retention before you opt in. No silent local-to-server fallback will be used.
